    I’d really recommend talking to your physician about this, for a referral to a good therapist (if you aren’t already seeing one.) A CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) approach is terrific for managing anxiety and helping provide you with coping skills when faced with situations that send you into “fight/flight/freeze” modes of anxiety.     If you’re seeking trauma recovery, I strongly recommend looking into van der Kolk’s work (The Body Keeps the Score, in particular) and in Peter Levine’s work on somatic experiencing. Good stuff, folks.
