    Thank you for your kind words. It’s funny, only a few months after I posted this I met the love of my life. We have been together for 2 years now.

    At one of those stages in my life where I’m looking to find someone, yet everytime I have a feeling I get close, it doesn’t work out, and that just has me feeling lonelier.

    I know you don’t need other people for happiness, but after a few years of being alone, it’s getting really hard.

    Even if they’re not an official ’therapist’, it’s good to have pivotal ’mentors’ of sorts in our lives, to learn from and help us progress our life further along, it sounds like this person could count for that.

    I also give a shit, but yes, everything you are describing sound like symptoms of anxiety. The mind is a powerful thing. Good luck with financial aid, and let us know if you need to vent more.
