I had therapy today, and it was one hell of a conversation. I talked about my family, my plan after college, my personal life, etc… and I revealed things that I never thought was in my mind. I feel a-lot better now, and just tbh with you all, I think she confirmed that she wasn’t a therapist since she recommended me to other professionals, but I am still going to think of her as a counselor only because I trust her, and I usually go their for help on my work, but half the time I talk about family and personal issues. Man, i feel a bit more relaxed, but it’ll only last a while before I face many daunting tasks later on. But hey, at least i’m a bit more rejuvenated.

    • Even if they’re not an official ’therapist’, it’s good to have pivotal ’mentors’ of sorts in our lives, to learn from and help us progress our life further along, it sounds like this person could count for that.
Keep up the good vibes, @anxietyattack66

It’s great that it helped. :) You deserve to feel and enjoy those moments of relaxation. It’s nice to not have much to worry about, if anything at all.

I noticed in your other post from this morning that you’re now feeling anxious. But try to come back from the conversation you had with this woman. Remember why it calmed you down. A good way to keep yourself in check is to just remind yourself of the reasons why you felt good in the first place.
