Adding to that, they don’t want to help others. They just want to be helped (that’s okay, that’s what the site is for). There are also others who only log on to help people and do not seek help, but they don’t really want to form friendships, they just want to help in the short-term, like being a Listener in the chat or answering forum posts. This site is more ‘Listeners and Venters’ than it is a fully supportive community right now, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t find friends or can’t get support. Again, like Rinsendrep said, it will take time. There are a lot of people on this website and they are looking for friends as well. You have to stick your neck out and look for them. | |
