I listen to this song everyday not just because it gives me hope, but inspiration that by each day, i’ll try to get more better and more open to the world than now. I had a friend when I was 11, and sadly he passed when I was in the first year of middle school. It was probably the most hardest year because he was about to attend the same school as me, meaning that our bond wouldn’t be separated until we reached High School, but not everything can last as long as you want it to last for. The last year of Middle School, and I was losing a lot of self confidence, and that was the turning point for what i’m going through right now. He was a good friend of mine, always defended me against bullies, always had the patience, and was always listening to me. He’s a fucking inspiration to me, and i’ll never forget what we have been through. The last thing he told me before he left was ”You’ll be someone, you’ll meet friends like me, don’t give up, always find the brighter side to things, and always be yourself”. I wish I used that advice more, but I simply can’t because now, i’m incapable of doing so. But, I won’t give up, I wont stop fighting for my freedom from this struggle of mine, and I won’t stop simply because of my family who needs me more than ever. This is just the beginning, I won’t stop fighting.
