Just ignore them honey, they’re begging for a reaction and they’ll provoke you in anyway! It’s obviously not racist, especially since you’re talking about your interests, but just remember they’re silly and immature and don’t really know what they’re talking about- ESPECIALLY when it involves you and your interests. There’s something called Orientalism, or like Asian fetish, I think it’s useful to look up into it to see if this criticism was a gratuitous personal attack, or instead something you said or did that was problematic (perfectly possible since it’s hard to be perfect). @pentastic

When a claim is that ridiculous, it can be dismissed outright. It can knock at our brains with the magnitude of its stupidity, but ultimately the opinion of a person that far removed from good sense does not matter.

Asians are beautiful like any other culture, and there is a lot to appreciate about them. Dismiss that blind ignorance and continue enjoying your love of Asians.
