I have doctors appointment and i dont know what to do?!!!!!!!?!!??!! Im worried they’re gonna see my scars in general.But im worried they’ll see them and tell my parents and that will do more harm than good.Its not i can show up in long sleaves and have it not be. Weird in July!! I just dont know what to do????

Hi Shelly,
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. If the doctor sees them and asks what they are from you can either A. Tell them the truth or B. Lie and make up a story. And if you do tell them or they find out what they are from you can ask them to not tell your parents and just make sure to mention that you haven’t done it in years and you have no urge to. Doctors are required by law to keep things between you and them unless they sense that you might harm yourself. But harming in the past can stay between just the two of you. Good Luck Love :)
