Okay it’s not exactly Shakespeare but I hope you all kinda like it. I much appreciate any advice.

I looked at you and felt so much pain,
I looked at you and wondered what is there to gain?
From fighting, from “staying strong”,
It was always bound to go wrong.
With every tear that roles down me cheek,
I feel myself become more and more weak.
I never thought it was going to be this way,
Being told that today could be your very last day…

I cradle you for the last time as you drift into a never ending sleep,
I hold myself together and try as hard as I can not to weep.
How could you leave me like this? There’s so much left for us to do.

I gently kiss your head, and whisper ever so softly I’ll always love you

It’s a neat start. Keep at it, and always feed your mind more food for your vocabulary. The more tools you have at your disposal, the more colorful and intricate your creations will be. And eventually, you’ll be creating some very interesting pieces with more elaborance each time you put yourself into it :)

Simple, sweet and elegant. Too direct and straightforward, maybe that’s how you wanted it.

And here’s a quote I that I really find interesting:

First, William Faulkner, speaking of Ernest Hemingway: ‘He has never been known to use a word that might send a reader to the dictionary.’

And Hemingway’s response: ‘Poor Faulkner. Does he really think big emotions come from big words?
