At the edge of the globe sits a lonely dreamer, looking for a wish to come true

Tears in his eyes, hid behind his eyelids
His silent gaze stood admiring the beauty he feared he will never find

I think you and Nightwish will get along marvelously. Tuomas Holopainen expresses a similar bend.

Take a trip over to youtube and enjoy. I recommend starting with “Ocean Soul”.
