What’s your favorite genre of poetry. Personally, mine is epic poetry. I just like the fact I can read it like a normal book, but in a poetic style of writing with the certain rhythms and rhymes. Out of all the epic poems I have read I would say I like the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri the best (Inferno specifically) with the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Decameron coming in second.
