Why did my crush show signs of liking me then just stopped talking to me?

We have been texting for only 4 days. Through these 4 days he’s been wanting me to go visit him at his home where he’s on bed rest. He cant come to see me because he got surgery and is on crutches. I was kinda unable to see him because i dont have my own car and he lives in another town so it was hard plus i felt weird if i asked my friends, idk it felt to early for me. He’s called me baby, princess, sent kissing emojis, talked about wanting to cuddle and kiss me and said the sweetest things to me etc but today all of a sudden leaves the text i sent him on read. I go on twitter and he tweets a picture of his phone messages saying “fresh new start” Im really upset that he just randomly stops talking to me, it’s also rude to me. i reeeeeeally liked him for so long, even before we started texting. I guess I just neeed help on how to get over the situation, some advice, anything really. or why you think he stopped!?

The same thing just happened to me, but he knows I'm pissed off about it and now he's finding ways to fix things. I honestly think you should just talk to him when you can, because maybe you're overreacting or missing something. Let's face it, us gals are known to sometimes overreact instead of simply asking out loud. Just talk things out with him and express your concerns. Let him know you're hurt and ask if that was his intention.

Guys are more simple than you think. If you are sitting around wondering about something with us just ask.. I know it sounds like the worst answer to your question but it really is that simple. Maybe a girl he really liked for a long time suddenly likes him, and that made him change his mind. A girl I kinda liked out of nowhere was calling me babe and sending kissy emojis and then after that day stopped messaging me until I asked what was wrong. People are confusing and the only answer is to ask him.

Omg. The same thing is literally currently happening to me. I want to know why and I tried asking, but I feel like it just doesn't work. But the one thing I've been telling myself is: Don't try and chase him, if he's suddenly stopped talking to you, don't obsess over why he isn't talking to you. Try to just leave it alone, because usually they come back looking for you if they really were interested. I'm trying that right now, and I'm trying my best not to pursue him, because He's said I love you, and things that had me thinking we were gonna be in a relationship...which hurt because why would you say things like that and than stop talking to me out of no where. But really, if you want to talk more about it send me a message and we can probably help each other out. I know exactly how your feeling, cause I liked this guy a lot..

My guess would be, that he wants you to talk to him first, to confront him I guess. But basically I think he just wants a reaction from you to see if he affects you... But if you really want to know, I highly suggest you go and ask him about it, its easier and you don't need to over think about it - which may lead to horrible things I tell you.
