I can’t imagine having a relationship?

I am a lesbian, but perhaps bisexual and I find it extremely difficult to imagine having a relationship with anyone, woman or man. Am I just too young (16), or too shy or just not ready for a relationship?

If you can't imagine being in a relationship then there is no point to force yourself. I guess you're just not ready :) Is there anything particular that makes this idea difficult for you?

I'd say the same too. You're probably not ready. People these days have this preconception that when you're in your teens you MUST have experience in having a relationship. But the thing is that you don't haha. I know many people who went through their teen years (I was one myself) who never had a relationship and turned out just fine. I think you should just let it go, stop thinking about it for a while. I find that when you stop searching for something, it ends up coming to you. Wait until the relationship comes to you, don't go out looking for it. Just enjoy your single life for now, and also try and come to a decision about your sexuality too :)

Well, you're definitely not alone. I am 17 and I have the same problem (even the sexual orientation one.) I'm very independent and I can't really imagine having such a connection with someone else. But hopefully, when you find the right person you'll be more interested in pursuing a relationship with them.
