4 months ag I went on an overseas trip and started talking to a girl that I hadn’t really talked to, let alone paid attention to before. By the end of the trip i had a huge crush on her. During the trip one of my least favourite friends was being really creepy to her and following her around and being a general pervert. When we got back home I was talking to her for hours every night. I really liked her. There was a rumor that we were going out. One of my friends asked whether we were going out. Infront of her I said: “No, not yet”. The yet just slipped out. They all made a big deal out of it. she went red in the face and ran off. I was really embarrased and apologised that night. Two months later a new guy comes to school, we will call him Jamie. She starts to like Jamie, and I get to be reall good friends with Jamie. Now Jamie has a girlfriend and she is neutral about who she likes. During the trip she admitted she liked a guy called Bailey. Now bailey is a bit of a creep, he kept grabbing my ass while i was talking to her and pulling me onto his lap. but the thing is he did the same to her and doesn’t like her. Anyway cut to today and I have started to avoid her because a whole bunch of assholes hang around her and I don’t really feel like dealing with them to talk to her. She knows i am avoiding her and now I can’t stop liking her and it is really awkward. I find it hard to be happy nowadays. She recently told one of my friends that I was in her “Friendzone”, which hurts because that’s what i first talked to her about and she told me it was a stupid concept. Today I went and talked with the group that we hang out with for he first time in ages. She dragged her ex by the hand away. He is overly flirtatious to the point where she visibly cringes. She says that he was a waste of time. I can’t look at her usually because she is always being touched/hugging some dickbag…
