What should I do about my father?

I know you said that you don't want to get the law involved but if he says that he is threatening physical abuse, that could lead to child abuse and you really don't want that happening. My friend had the same thing happened to her. If he has hit your mother, then you should get the law involved.

Unfortunately, I don't think that there is another way but to get the law involved. Basically, your father is violating the law by harassing the both of you. He's making your home environment dangerous and you don't feel comfortable around him anymore. He's emotionally abusing you, and threatens to physicslly abuse you. This is NOT going to get any better without professional help. I just want to reassure you that it is neither you nor your mom's fault, and that it WILL get better. But you really don't have any other choice but to ask for professional help. Maybe you could ask a helpline for child abuse, I'm sure that they're able to guide you and your mother through this! I dont know what he did to my mother, she wont talk about him at all which kinda makes it all harder
