He's probably feeling a little hurt and confused. You could explain to him that you really like him- but not in the romantic sort of way. You could explain to him that he's been drifting apart and that you really don't want to lose his friendship, which means a lot to you. In the end, if he keeps acting that way, it's his loss and there are many great people out there who would be good friends for you. -Amanda

Honestly, in my opinion, I know he's wounded but it's not an excuse to treat you like shit. Give him space and let him get over this.

Maybe ask him why he was friends with you to begin with. Find out why he has stopped talking to you. You have to communicate with him your need to be friends if he can get past liking you to be friends or if he doesn't want anything to do with you because he can't get over that.
