Often in-order to answer a question; We need to break it down.

Let's break this down; Shall We?

Step #1:

BPD - Borderline personality disorder
NPD - Narcissistic personality disorder

Step #2:

Let's Focus on the keyword here (Disorder)
Let's find the definition of the word:

Disorder:
1. A lack of order or regular arrangement; confusion.
2. A breach of civic order or peace; a public disturbance.

Step #3:

Two emotionally medically evaluated disordered individuals; Coming together will eventually lead to disturbed relationship.

No matter how you look at this equation; unless proper medication and therapy is provided.Without supervision, This relationship cannot accept the execution of the word "Success".

Best of Wishes!

I appreciate your thorough answer...even answering at all. Thank you. I agree that without help this type of relationship is doomed by nature of both disorders however the relationship is not left with no hope as there is hope for all. What I mean is what type of symptoms or actions might be displayed or what would the relationship appear as (for those who have experienced living in this or may have witnessed this themselves with loved ones in their lives)? How would the two play off each other? Example: The one with BPD might be extremely jealous and the one being a Narsisst might argue that they will not tolerate this bc they are not going to be put through something as low as such. Etc. etc...

Run? Is this a suggestion in this case or what will happen in the relationship?
