What do I do??!

So, me and my boyfriend have been arguing a lot lately. Like, a lot, a lot. He’s one of those super jealous guys who get jealous when he sees you talking to other guys. Well, a few weeks ago. A old friend of mine that I haven’t seen in three years stopped by me an have me a hug. My boyfriend found out and is now super mad. He’s calling me selfish, and pathetic. And he’s telling me I only think about myself and he’s being so mean to the point where I started to cry because of why he was saying. What do I do? I love him so much, I don’t even know why. But I do.

Sounds like the jealousy is pretty bad and you are doing nothing wrong but just fell for a guy who is a bad apple in a way. Being selfish would be acting in a way that was wrong or offensive and it seems it was a just a hug so he is in the wrong. Maybe he is the wrong fit for you and you need space apart for him to learn what he will lose by pushing away with his jealousy.

"Jealousy is anger's ugly cousin"...is that how it goes? Sounds to me like your boy is just that... a boy. If he has jealousy issues I would render that as him being selfish and pathetic - you aren't his "property" by any means. If you can't pin point reasons why you even love the guy...I would start questioning myself. It's no mystery that many guys that do have jealousy issues are often the same that end up being the violent types as they claim ownership over their partner.
