What are some of your resolutions for the new year?
I always tend to come up with unhealthy weight loss resolutions that enhance my eating disorder. I am trying to change that for this upcoming year. So out of curiosity, what are some of your New Year Resolutions?
- To quit volunteer jobs that are unnecessarily stressing me out (I'm a workaholic) and focus more on the things that matter.
- Drop another 8-10kg, depending on how much I am now. Last year I was successful in losing 8kg. So I'm just continuing from there. (:
- Travel to three new countries this year (only managed two new ones last year).
- Land myself a month-long summer internship in the film industry.
I don't really have any. I have goals I want to achieve, but not because it's going to be 2014. Most people don't follow through with New Year's resolutions because they don't really want to, it's usually more "it's a new year, better have a goal.." instead of "wow, I'm definitely going to do this, this is going to be great for me". Most are usually unrealistic as well and people want to jump right into the deep end before they can barely even doggy paddle. In saying this tough, some people really do follow through, so pat on the back to them. New Year's resolutions are supposed to healthier and good for you, just keep that in mind.
Well, this could end horribly, but my resolutions are: to cut right down on junk food (but it tastes so nice, and it's so comforting); to attempt to write a novel (just choosing one idea is so difficult); to try to tell people to piss off less often (but sometimes they really should).
