Just because I have scored 76% in my higher secondary exams which is the key to get admitted to a college in India. …it does not mean that I’m a bad girl or that I’m not sincere. My marks in english are very good its 93/100….I hv decided to take up english honours n go into journalism or may be write a book. But my parents are strictly against it. bcz of my aggregate i won’t b able to get into the A-grade colleges but that does not mean i don’t hv a future does it ??? bt sum A-grade colleges offer othr subjects other than english and d criteria marks 4 those r pretty low. My parents are literally forcing me to apply in those colleges even if its not english. I don’t want to. bt they keep tellin wid such a low aggregate u actually hv no future…all my classmates hv scored in 90s & above 90s. 2day my mom took me 2 her frnd’s house , n evn her frnds’s son n daughter hv got way bettr mrks than me . she kept on talkin in front f them hw i cnt get into reputed institutions given my percentage. Mom says u cnt cope up wid english syllabus of d uviversities, bt i quite like it n i kno i cn. she says u r not capable , many ppl didt study eng bcz of d tough syllabi…..doesn’t mean dat i wud not too..I love english i dnt kno wat to do..plz help
