My friend is turning 21 and we are supposed to go to Vegas to celebrate. We made the plans months ago and bought cheap tickets for the three of us. She is still kind of in the “party” stage, as she just graduated college. I’ve been out of school for some time now and have never really enjoyed the party scene. I recently found out I’m pregnant and I don’t have a ton of money right now. I really need to save for the baby and I don’t know if it’s the best idea for me to go. I won’t be able to drink and I get tired so easily now- I feel like I will be a big party pooper. We also had plans to go to the Grand Canyon, shopping, etc., but I know she’ll want to go out a lot. On the other hand, I also don’t want to let my friends down since they’ve been looking forward to the trip. Should I go or stay home?
