Recent knee dislocation?

0

Within the last 24 hours I was hanging out with my friends and my friend rolled over me and dislocated my knee. My friend popped it back into place and it felt better, but I still had pain. Now, I have an ace bandage wrapped around it but I still have pain and discomfort. I haven’t told my mom yet because I don’t want to freak her out, but should I seek medical aid or will it be fine?

Get it checked out!!! If it turns out to be nothing, it's better to be sure, and if you did get injured you could save yourself a ton of trouble and pain and further damage by treating it now. Also, make sure your doctor takes a good look at your injury and don't try to downplay it, let them know exactly how you're feeling.I sprained an ankle quite badly over a year ago and the first doctor I went to dismissed it as nothing and just gave me pain pills. I tried to carry on as usual and it just got worse, so I went to a different doctor a few months later. Long story short, I'm still going to physical therapy for something that would've been easy to fix in the first place =/ so yeah, please please take good care of yourself!

Its better if you can show it to any good Best orthopedic surgeons who can check it and see if anything else has not happened. So its better if you can get checked it fast.

I am someone who has had knee issues constantly and have dislocated both my knees, both seperatly and at the same time on numerous occasions. If its the first time it has ever happened then go and get some medical help! you will regret not telling your mom as it could turn in to a very serious, long term issue which later may not be able to be fixed. Especially seeing as you're friend popped it in as they may have done a bad job of fixing it bacck in place, hence why it may be still very painful.
