So I like this guy; a LOT. But when I like someone it’s usually hard to tell; at least, when I tell my friends, they always seem very surprised. Most of the time I try not to read into the people I like too much, mostly because I don’t want to get my hopes up or jump to conclusions: you know, ‘Ohemgee, he totally just winked at me! Maybe he likeees meee!’
But this guy and me; we’re pretty close. We talk about a lot of things, he complains when I don’t text him good night, he let me name a stuffed animal after him, and earlier today, we were talking about dating types and he said, (and I quote), “Personality-wise, I like people to have a good-humored, quirky personality— like yours, for example, is a great personality”.
So basically I’m asking, because I’d hate to get my hopes up if we’ve already friend-zoned each other or something: does it sound like he might be interested? Or am I just reading into it too much? Don’t be afraid to be frank with me; if I’m being delusional, just say it outright (a smack to the face would be preferred). I don’t want to be that crazy person who thinks everyone loves them:’D
