Please help.

I’m really depressed. And I need to cut, but I’ve never done it before. And if my parents find out they’ll kill me… So any other ways? I’m 11. Please don’t say I’m too young to cut. There’s a reason.

My parents just don’t understand.

You dont need to cut. No one needs to cut. Cutting hurts and is unnecesssry

I don't think you need to cut, it won't help you at all. I, myself, tried to cut and it did nothing more than hurt the people around me. There are other ways to get rid of depression, like doing what you love, forming a hobby, hanging with people who make you smile.

You really don't need to start cutting...it isn't something you want to get into! Talk to someone about how your feeling, do something that makes you happy or hang out with people who make you smile! but please don't cut! I'm really sorry you are feeling this way <3

Why do you feel like you need to cut? If it's for relief, there are a lot of better ways to calm down, including going for a run, writing your thoughts down, taking a bath, etc. If it's for attention, skip the cutting and just tell your parents you're feeling lousy.

I was also depressed and I used to cut myself, hoping my parents would eventually see so they could get me the help I needed. They did see and get me that help, and I'm doing much better, but I wish at that age I had the vocabulary to talk about my problems. I didn't so I resorted to a violent act, which left scars on the inside and outside. I want you to know you can get the help you need without hurting yourself.

If you'd like, you can message me here and we can talk about different ways for you to feel better.

Okay, let me tell you one thing. You will regret that first cut. Cutting hurt me more than the thing that caused me to cut. At the time I didn't realize that, but now I do. Whatever's going on, its much better to talk it out than take it out on yourself. Cutting is honestly the worst way to "solve" a problem because it can spiral out of control.
