Opinion on age difference?

I’ve liked this guy for a really long time. He’s like my best friend. Only thing is, I’m a freshman, he’s a junior. Is that an odd age difference?

Nah, age differences don't tend to make a difference unless you're discussing legality (age of consent and all that). I say let him know, and don't worry about the difference.

I wouldn't say it's odd either. And he's your best friend. That's all that matters.

Oh, that's not a big/odd age difference at all. My husband and I have a two year age difference and we find that we remember a lot of the same things that we experienced growing up, etc. It's really nice! Tell him!

The standard rule is half your age plus seven.

Two years isn't a huge difference, it's only when your dealing with different life-phases that it gets questionable.

Nope, my parents are 10 years apart.

Its definitely not to big of an age difference. Like its only to big of a difference if you are uncomfortable with it

Let me give you some perspective. I was in relationship with a girl 8 years younger than me, her friends liked me, her mom liked me, and no one gave a rats ass about the age difference :D
