Well, the definition of "nothing" is "not anything", or "one single thing". Conversely, Something is defined as a single thing. So the terms are contradictive to each other. My opinion on the topic is that there has to be something in order for it to be "not nothing". Therefore you COULD say that if there are "no somethings", then there is nothing.
