All I do I listen to music, I socialize only at school, and sometimes text my friends, but all I can do is plug my earphones in turn off the lights, lock my door and just sit there, letting the lyrics deacribe my feelings.
Music can be a powerful way to get in touch with your emotions. There are a lot of people in the world, myself included, that can "feel" music, so to speak. However, it isn't good to let anything take such control of your life that you shut others out. Maybe you can let your love for music help you connect to someone else that feels the same way. We need interaction with one another. It's part of our genetic makeup.
I wouldn't say bad music is a good why to express how your feeling. but if you think it is you can try going out side and walk or go hang out with a friend or can do something that you like to do instead.
It depends on a lot of factors like time, place, circumstance, etc. From what you are saying I can conclude that you are listening to this music in an effort to repress your emotions. I would suggest trying other methods of resolving and/or suppressing your emotions. If you continue to use this as your only method of emotional release you may become dependent on this method in an unhealthy manner.
