I miss her very much..

My gifriend moved all the way to Illinois 2 years ago.
We have been dating for 4 years and we talk every day.
She means a lot to me and she makes me so happy.
I sometimes wonder if there is any way I can go see her.But our parents don’t know we’re still together and we are only teenagers. It makes me really sad that I’m unable to see her,and I don’t know what to do.Any suggestions?

4 years is a big commitment! You should try suggesting the idea to your parents (and hers as well). Or you could always wait until you're 18 and it wouldn't matter really what they have to say. Stick with it though! Best of luck:)

It is a long commitment. And have you thought about skyping one another or anything like that? Sending pictures to each other? Maybe you can save some money up with a job and go see her for a weekend. Ask a friend to drive you there and give them gas money. Or as Katie said, wait till you're 18 and move up there with her. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Have you tried video chat, like Skype or AIM video chat? You can write to each other by mail or email and talk on the phone. I would tell your parents how much you are missing her and ask them if there's anyway you could visit her. It's worth a shot. The worst that could happen is that they say no, and she's not near you so they can't do anything more. Or, you could both plan a vacation at the same place if you both convince your parents without letting them your plan to "bump" into her. But that would take a lot of coordination on the dates and timing between you both.

I agree with the previous posts. Especially with technology, it is much easier to maintain a long distance relationship. Talking to the parents really could be a good idea unless there more to that side of the story. Hope everything works out, good luck!

I'm with Chatta. Save up to see her. Both of you can work for that and take turns. 4yrs is awesome and even if the parents are negative at first, they will see that you two are serious and committed to each other. They will need to be talked to, but it can bepossible to work something out. It is definitely worth a shot considering the time you guys have spent together already. Good luck!!
