I go to sleep everynight empty. Am I the only one?

I see people on facebook that is as far as friends go. I even may socialize from time to time but when its time to go to bed I am extremely lonely. No one there with me. I started letting my dog sleep in room with me. She helps a little bit but I just wish I had human companionship.

You're not the only one. Sometimes I hold onto my pillow and wished someone else was here. I'm not looking for a relationship, but a friend would be nice too. I understand. You're not the only one.

No, you're not the only one. I do it all the time. It is normal for teenagers. I am always here if you need someone.

of course you're not the only one. loneliness is a basic human emotion. you see things like tv shows and movies where all of this happens like its natural, and then your mind starts craving what you don't have. might i suggest trying to put yourself out there? baby steps is all it takes to eventually get someone to snuggle with. i used to be the same way without friends, and now i'm with a girlfriend of 3 years. its scary, but sometimes you have to take a leap!

In no way are you the only one sweetie, but just make sure you don't confuse being lonely and being empty, they are slightly different. Being lonely is a basic human emotion that is experienced by everyone at some point in their life, more so in today's society because of tv shows, movies, books, social networking, etc. But being empty is the complete absence of emotion which is different, I know this cause of my BPD. You don't care about anything and everything and feel numb to everything and everyone, feeling lonely isn't like that and is completely normal. Things will get better sweetie, good luck xx
