How does love feel?

0

Has anyone been with someone for two years or more and still had butterflies? Have you still wanted to spend every moment with them? Have you felt so utterly and completely head over heels for them? Still afraid to lose them? Still adore them? Still crave their touch?

Or, are those feelings supposed to fade? Do those everlasting feelings not exist?

Some of those feelings fade - I still get them from time to time. I'll have days when I get butterflies, moments when my heart will skip a beat.

If he's away I'm always afraid I could lose him. I fear an accident of some sort could take him from me. I always crave his touch.

I don't always like him - but I always love him.

There's a difference between the love two people feel when they're just falling in it, and the love that they feel when they've been together for months or years. The first is exciting and intense and you can never get enough of it. But the second is less happy-go-lucky and is more living beside each other, caring for each other, doing things for the other person just to see them smile. It's simple and loving and it's about working together. Comparing the two; the first few months feels so vibrant and almost surreal while the years after that feels gentle and cushioned.

Well those feeling usually fade over time, but maybe your relationship is still precious to you. Its okay that feelings haven't changed, but just remember to stay calm.

I think love is just wanting the other person to be happy and safe always. no matter what.

Yes! it actually happens. I believe that if you truly love that person then that spark is there forever. If thats the person that you really want to be with then they will never stop taking your breath away. I believe that true love is a real thing. I hope to someday find a love that will never stop. If it ever stops then that person is not the one for you. I hope someday that you too find that love.
