How do you approach a guy you like?

This is stupid, but I need help approaching this guy. He knows I like him and everybody (including me) is almost certain he likes me too. He’s kinda shy and he won’t approach me, so I was just hoping someone could help me approach him. I don’t really know how to or how how to even really start a conversation.

Ask him about his interests. People usually are more comfortable talking about things they're interested in. See if you can find some common ground and use that to relate with one another. Ultimately, he will be comfortable and may even ask you out. If he still seems shy maybe you can suggest getting together some time for food or drinks. Hope that helps a little.
