I had a thing with this boy who i had a soft spot for for about a year, and recently we’ve started talking and getting quite close. We starting seeing each other/kissing etc, he went on holiday and i used the time away from him to do some thinking. When he got back, i realised that he was getting a bit too serious and that we wanted different things. I’ve never liked commitment, and it all seems a bit silly to be thinking about having a relationship at 14/15! Especially as he was with his last girlfriend for over a year. But i dont know how to tell him that i dont want what he wants and that i would just prefer to be friends, without him getting annoyed with me and ruining our friendship? Things like this happen with my friends all the time and i can just see it ending badly. sigh.
