How do I get help for sexual abuse?

Hey dear, I've been exactly where you are in this situation - first step is since you are having flash backs, I really recommend seeing a therapist, and getting a psychiatric evaluation. Chances are, you have PTSD. They can get you put on medications immediately after the evaluation. It helps with the flash backs.. But, the only downside is getting your parents to sign you up for therapy. They might ask why you need it, and you'll need to convince them.. If you don't want to tell them exactly why you want to go, just say that you would like a figure in your life to talk to that can give you professional advice, afterall, you are a teenager. Congratulations on tell our boyfriend. That must have been hard, but you were strong enough to do it. My best advice would to talk to someone you are close with in your family. This could be your mom, your dad, an aunt or uncle. They will be able to get you the help you need. But I know talking to your family can definitely be hard.. If you don't feel comfortable doing that I would advise going to a school counsellor or youth worker. They will be able to hook you up with counselling, or like Megan said a Psyciatric evaluation.
