How do I cope with this?

1

My best friend is severely ill with a mystery diagnosis and she just got admitted to the hospital today. After 3 weeks of neurological symptoms and 2 ER visits. I’ve know her since I was 2. She’s practically my sister and for all I know, she could be dying. Her symptoms are certainly severe enough. She also tends to be overly-dramatic (also really emotional is another one of her symptoms) so was writing deathbed notes and crying. Last night was the first time I ever actually considered suicide. Since this has happened, my depression has gotten worse too. How do I deal with this situation?

There is no point doing anything before you are sure. Your friend could get well and be as healthy as ever for all you know! Besides, even if God forbids she dies, do you really think she would want you to take your life? She would want you to be happy. What you should do now is be strong for her's and your own sake. This is the time to act and be positive. Positivity can cure the most terminal of diseases. And this is no blabber. My aunt is a doctor. Tell your friend that she absolutely can't give up on life and leave you alone. With as much determination and strength as you can muster! Instigate in her the will to fight and live. I'm sure she will be well in no time then! :)
