STICKY TABS!!!!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF STICKY TABS!!!Really, I have a shitty memory (sorry for my french), and i use sticky tabs and put several of the same ones ALL over the place. The bathroom somewhere near the toilet, kitchen near your food you normally eat, LAPTOP! BEST PLACE! uhm the door, mirror litterally man just everywhere.sounds insane but i did it and now i dont need them so much because my brain is all like "remember you have to write that on a sticky tab before you forget" over and over and i just kinda remember it that way.Hope this helped, good luck and may you live long and prosper. and remember.

I write things down as soon as I hear them, both in a notebook, I think it's a good idea to have one soly dedicated to the purpose of things you need to remember, or a daily planner if you will, that you can bring everywhere you go and as soon as I've done what I needed to do, I rip of a piece of the edge so I know approximately where I am. Another thing is before the week starts, to go thorugh the week to come and see when you have things planned.

Everybody has a phone, so why not use it? I usually sett alarms the day before I need to do something, writing a little text so I know what it's about, and one the same day a couple of hours before it happens.

Also, put up a list on your bedroom door of things you have to do for the day, or week, so you see it right before you leave the house. You can also use the help of others, ask your friend or someone you trust to remind you when there's things you have to do or tests coming up etc.

On another note, perhaps you could focus on improving your memory as well, there are exercises you could do and little tricks to learn to help remember.

thx guys :D although i don't think my phone is good to remind me (i usually forget where i put it and lose it all the time) but my problem is not that i don't write notes, its that i don't remember the fact that i wrote anything in them.

What kind of things is it that you have a hard time remembering? Is there one specific thing sticking out like dates or appointments etc. Make it a routine to check your notebook everyday before you go to bed, and then gradually lessen it as once you get into the habit of checking, you won't have to force yourself to remember doing so.

As for keeping your things where you can find them and not lose them, perhaps make a routine to double check your bag the night before so you have everything you need with you. Another good thing that helps a lot is to have a space for each thing, you know where they are supposed to go and you can easily grab them as you need.

Also, science says if you really don't want to forget something as you leave the house, just put it by the door.

Have you got a phone that you can set alarms for as reminders to check these things (i.e. your notebook?) Maybe try setting up some alarms in your phone as reminders, perhaps one that goes off on a regular basis (once or twice a day) to remind you to check your notebook?
