dated the girl for 15 months, but we still “talked” after the breakup. Right after we stopped talking she hooked up with my friend i grew up with my whole life. i called him out and he told me off.
i think it's normal if you are mad in this situation, but i also think you should decide by yoursef if your ex-girlfriend still means something to you or not. if your friend knew your feelings for her after you broke up you are right to be mad, but if he didn't he may have thought you were over it.
While your feelings are understandable, holding it against them would be highly irrational. The decision to not date the ex of a friend is an individual choice, not a mandate, such as the case in the sub-cultural manual called "The Bro Code".
