Ever talked to the therapists on Blah?

I was wondering if anyone has ever used the professional therapy feature on this site. I was gonna try it out, but they wanted all the payment information and I wasn’t quite ready for the commitment. Was it any good?

Not sure if my opinion counts here, but I've used LivePerson services in the past before I decided to integrate their services on the site.

Admittedly, I was skeptical at first once they asked for payment on the second page and was prepared to back out. Though seeing their refund policy made me a bit more at ease with proceeding.

A few tips when speaking with a professional online, read the REVIEWS before choosing a Therapist to speak with (to get an idea of what type of help you'll receive). When you see a lot of "stars" and blank text, those are return customers who speak with that therapist on a regular basis.

Also if you do decide to speak to a therapist, don't be afraid to end a chat with one that you don't feel is giving you valuable information. The first 3 minutes of the chat are free, so there is some time to decide whether or not you want to continue speaking with them. (Also a good idea to copy and paste your question ahead of time to save on session time). That way you can use your remaining funds to speak with someone else that you feel will give you good advice rather than wasting your money on someone who will just repeat what you say.

Also you are able to read a therapists reply in real time. Meaning, as they are typing, you can see what they are typing so you don't have to wait for them to hit submit before you read what they have to say.

Any other questions you may have, feel free to ask :)
