We are making a brand new documentary series about people keeping a big secret from their loved ones for a major US network. Perhaps you have been keeping a secret about your religion or sexuality from your parents or family? Or you have racked up a huge debt that your partner knows nothing about? Or maybe your youngest child has no idea they are adopted? Perhaps your parents have no idea that your sister has been earning a living as an escort?
The secret could be ANYTHING so long as it’s something kept hidden from friends or close family, and you want to take steps towards revealing the truth to your loved ones. The documentary will look at the challenges faced by this person keeping part of their life hidden from their loved ones, and will explore what led them to keep this secret — such as pressures from family, friends, culture or society to live their life in a certain way. The film will follow this person as they take steps toward revealing the secret to those closest to them.
