Am I over-thinking things?

I met this girl online and we’ve been talking for about 3 weeks now. We’ve texted, spoke on the phone and had a few “skype dates” as well. I’ll be back from school this weekend so I’m finally able to take her out.

I have what I think is a fun date planned. I plan on picking her up then we’d go walking around this nice outdoor mall until our dinner reservations at a nice restaurant in the mall. Then afterwards I had something fun planned like going mini-golfing to have a little competitive and less serious atmosphere.

So I feel pretty good about the date itself. But I can’t shake this thought that what if I’m just horribly boring, and she doesn’t actually like me in person. I don’t feel like this would happen, but the thought still lingers. I’m not sure what to think now, I keep psyching myself out.

I like the date idea. It sounds a lot more fun, plus you planned it all yourself. Most guys are just like, "Oh, I don't know what to do." So you obviously know what sounds fun. Just relax and see where it goes. Hope you have fun! PM me how it goes!

She has liked you enough to have skype dates with you so that is a plus in your favor. You sound like you planned a good date. Activities can make it a lot easier to talk. you might consider putting the golfing first so you can something to talk about over dinner and not worrying about ice breaking.

Un-psych yourself. Take a warm, relaxing bath or shower, breathe slowly and deeply, then just have fun!

If it goes well, it goes well; if there won't be another second real date (either because you decide it, or she does), bummer, but it's still worth trying! Have a good time!

It'll go well! Just believe in yourself and be confident! Good luck!

It's hard but just tell her that you feel like that. Doing that gives her a sign that you trust her with your feelings and for you, you feel much comfortable around her.
