Hello there!
It's a good start to get rid of anything that you could use for cutting. When I quit, I threw away my razors, so when the urge comes up I really can't cut even if I want to.
Additionally, I got myself a "Anti-Stress-Kit". It's a special box that I open whenever I feel extremely stressed or want to hurt myself in any way. It's got quotes by my favourite people, a teddy bear and a book in it. Most people also put candles/something that smells nice in there and you can basically put in whatever you want and whatever feels right.
Another thing that really helped me: go for a run or go to the gym. I am aware that this sometimes doesn't help and you just can't get yourself to do anything, but that's fine. However, workouts are really great because you can let off steam and you'll feel so good afterwards. (In fact, if you run regularly for about 30 minutes it has the same effects as a mild antidepressant).
