Hiya @say-hola .There’s nothing immature or something you should be ashamed of about having a phobia, some are fortunate enough to get over it on their own, for some it’s so bad that it affects their ability to live a ”normal” life, if that’s a thing. And many get them after experiencing something scary or stressful in their childhood/ adolescence. For example, someone who’s been in a plane crash might develop a fear of flying.

The best way to fight ignorance, is knowledge. Perhaps she doesn’t realize the extent of what she does affect you this much, which is why you should talk to her. Calmly. What you need is support and it might make you feel better if you try and figure out just what caused it and hopefully work through it.
