Try to make things up with your family. Not getting a job after doing your best for an interview is difficult, but don’t give up. This one might not have worked out for you, but if you keep trying, eventually you’ll find a job. Learn from this and see what you might be able to improve for the next.
Actually I did make things up, especially with my sister who lives in the same flat as me and we haven’t been speaking to each other in god knows how many months. It took a heated argument between me, my mum and sis for us to start talking again. I’m glad on that part thing are better. It’s been 6 months since I last worked and obviously being dismissed for gross misconduct is not gonna help my cause either. As you say silent rain, I will learn from this. It’s made me take stock of my life and that’s the good thing I take from it.
