    I am in this position where i am dating a complete jerk and for some unknown reason i don’t seem to have the courage to end it. maybe cuz it’ll be extremely painful when it happens? even though its already painful everyday, knowing he will never be the man i want him to be. (i dont expect him to change for me either) I look around and i see these happy people in happy relationships with guys who treat them like gems, meanwhile im sitting here listening to my guy talk about how awesome he is and how he said or posted or did something ’extremely’ funny.

      A way to approach hard decisions is to set a time limit. from one to six months, and then every day, you ask yourself if you want to do it. Towards the end, if you consistently reassured yourself that it’s what you want, you could have the resolution to face it.
