I am having trouble with some friends and need some advice. My old group of friends don’t like my new group of friends. I want to be friends with both groups of friends. I don’t want to change for anyone but apparently I am,what can I do?

Why would you have to chose ? We all have different groups of friends, we all see different people who don't always get along. It shouldn't be an issue. You just don't hang out with all of them at the same time, that's all. More fun for you: you get to go out twice as much !

Wow that can be really hard. But I don't think you should have to choose! Stay true to who you, what you like, and stay close to those who make you happy and uplift you. As you do those things the right group of friends will follow! Whoever you spend most of your time with is who you eventually become. I hope that helps :)

You should never have to choose between groups of friends, because true friends will always accept you for who you are ... but you also should never change yourself for the sake of fitting in with new friends. It really depends on how much these new friends seem to be "changing" you. If your old friends are just jealous, that's their problem, but if they think there's something really wrong, they're only trying to help you.

You shouldn't have to choose and if they can't accept it, they aren't really your friends.
