I´m starting to like a boy that is YOUNGER than me

Well… he entered to school 6 months after classes started… i was his first friend. we started talking a lot, literally we didn´t stop. and well, I think he likes me. (btw… i´m 15, girl).
Yesterday, i invited some friends over (he came) and we started playing truth or dare… i don´t know how… but he said how old is he, exactly 1 year 3 moths younger than me.
I talked to my friends, and some of them say that it´s ok to date him, but the others are against it. so idk what to do. HELP

That's not much of an age gap. There's nothing wrong with you liking him. He's not too young for him. If you like him, then follow your feelings. Don't let others decide for you whether it's right or wrong. Those who say it's wrong are wrong. You decide who you want to date and if you want to date him, then you can do so. Your friends should either accept that or keep their opinion to themselves.

I will preach this until my tongue falls off: age is just a number. I myself am mature for my age and people my age get on my nerves terribly. I fit in with the older crowds. Maturity and age do not go hand and hand. It all just depends on the individual. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that it is wrong to like someone who is not your age.

Age should never be a factor - especially if its only a few months - of whether you care about someone or not. Go for it!

Personally, I think age doesn't even matter. Its mostly about the maturity of two beings that counts. If you two are both on the same level of maturity then I see no problem. Even if you two are not in the same level, I see no problem also.I mean, if you two really like each other then I SEE NO WRONG. Don't mind what others negatively think about it.And yes, 1 year and 3 months is not a big age gap though.

I used to date a lady close to 13 years older than I ( I was 23 at the time). I must say that we were wonderful together. Its perfectly fine for there to be an age difference in a couple, no matter which way the balance swings. What matters is that you are happy.

Whatever you feel comfortable doing, hun! It's best to simply just follow your heart. Plus, it's not like the age gap is bad. But if you don't feel comfortable with his age, then don't push to it.
