Feeling Lifeless

1

I do things (read: obligations) SUPER SLOWLY like slower than a slug. Every morning I get my father yelling at me just to get me ready for school. Forgetting to zip my skirt has not only happened once in my life, and one just occured few days ago.

School is nothing for me but taking notes of nonsense and understanding things I don’t and won’t understand because they won’t be useful later in my life anyway. I do have lots of things I WANT to do: working out, learning how to cook, writing a story, designing a house, taking up martial arts,… but my time and energy are drained every single day for those useless things school gives me.
Any help?

I totally understand how you feel. I am like you as well, and even if years passed, I'm still really slow, but I improved a little. I know how does it feel to go at school and don't feel stimulated by it, I admit it that I was lucky, because when I changed school, I found great classmates, and great teachers. If you want to do something else, you can, but you have to not waste time! Ask yourself a goal, try to use those five minutes that you spend to do something slowly, on something else that you want to do, little by little you will become a little faster just to do what you want, and be positive. You think that what you're doing is useless, but one day you'll look back at when you were at school, and you will think that something was useful, you just have to see what. Also, I think that if you try to do something else different than study, you will find more energy, because you do have it a lot: you're just keeping it hidden somewhere. Good luck. :)
