Crying without apparent reason

2

Do you ever feel like you just want to cry with no apparent reason? Do you just let it or do you find a way to divert your attention to a more positive emotion? Is it better to succumb to sadness or just find a way to avoid it?

I tend to let it out. With it other suppressed emotions come over. The bad ones. Regrets, guilt, etc. But in the end, it's good. Because crying helps you let it out and in the end youre always clear-headed about how are you gonna carry yourself from now onwards, So. In my opinion, that would be better :letting it out

Succumb to it, so it doesn't eat you up inside, and you blow.

It depends on a variety of things, in my opinion. If you're in a place where you have the privacy to deal with what you're letting out, then holding things in can often make it worse. However, if you're in public or around family or friends who would not be understanding, then it might be good to wait for a better moment.Sometimes, simply giving yourself permission to emote is all you really need. It can sometimes be useful to give yourself a time limit. I recently had a traumatic thing happen in my life, and I "gave myself permission" to grieve for three days. That seemed reasonable, in line with the severity of the trauma. As it turned out, after two days, I was coming out the other side, but I had my limit there to keep me from becoming morose or "wallowing".

Mostly I just let it out. Crying can actually be really good for you; emotional tears release chemicals that help relieve stress and pain and also improve your mood.

Buuuut, if you're crying a lot over every little thing, you might be low on endorphins. DLPA supplements can help with that (I'm not a doctor though, so you know... research into it more before taking it).
