    Can anyone make sense of this?
    This is a particularly trying phase of my ”life”, and retaining control over the little things is important to me.
    My mom has a new job and is plenty busy. My dad is busier still. My sister studies away from home.
    my mom is fixating on the little things.
    she has to tell me every little thing, because im only 18, right?
    I’ve told her over and over that she should stop, because it really gets to me.
    she says that I need to listen to her like all ” good kids” do.
    Does she not realize that I’m at a point where I’m not sad anymore? This is an accomplishment for me, and do I need to put emphasis on the fact that she couldn’t even get me a fucking counselor?
    she hasn’t been a large presence in the last year and she cannot expect to suddenly barge in and take control.

      I would try to talk to your mother @dorian0gray, tell her that you know she means well but at the same time she should try to give you space to relax and focus on getting yourself to a better place, be honest with her and tell her how you are truly feeling, hope things work out, I’m always here if you need to chat or vent, message me anytime, my inbox is always open, stay strong, you are never alone :) (hugs)
