Some days ago there was this guy who tried to find out if the Vent/Listen Chat actually was some cyber sex-thingy and how far I would go
And so. SHIT!!!!!!!! I didn’t mean to scare him off! But really, I didn’t know what to tell him or how to help!
Gaaaaaaaaaahhh the Chat just doesn’t like me, I swear…

And the two guys that were chatting with me… well, the first one pretty much disconnected immediately after I told him something like “Hey honey, I’m happy to listen to no-matter-what’s on your mind, but please note that this is NOT some cyber sex thing!”… and off he went
So… should I really report such guys? If something like that happens again in the future, I mean. Cause actually… it wasn’t THAT bad. More like a mixture between freakin’ funny and annoying.
PS: Sorry if this topic made anyone… inhale their meal

I think you should only report it if it either doesn’t follow guidelines (like asking to go on webcam for sex, or something like that) or if they’re being directly harmful. If someone has issues with sexuality and you’re not comfortable dealing with that, it may be best to state that, then disconnect. As opposed to making light of a possible very stressful situation for them. (That’s just my opinion.)

Yup, I agree. I don’t think I made light of anything, though (while we were chatting, I mean). Like… I didn’t judge him or anything. I just realized that I couldn’t tell him anything I considered useful… so I suggested maybe it would be better for him to contact a specialist. And apparently, that was enough for him to leave the chat.
