I’m currently working on lights and building the set for my college production of Spamalot (it opens Oct 2) and we are in super crunch time.
Saturday I spent from 9am-10pm building set and Sunday I spent from 9am-8pm focusing lights.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday I work in the scene shop.
And Tuesday, Friday I work with the lights.
It’s intense, it’s crazy, it’s stressful along with all my other school work.
Somehow I’m managing.
And Spamalot is going to be kick ass.
I just can’t wait for it to go up.

Wow that sounds like a lot of hard work! It’ll be worth it, of course- Spamalot is a great show! Man, I miss those long hours of tech week (aka hell week). I haven’t been involved in a show for three years (since high school). As crazy as it might sound, I’m envious of those long hours you get to be in the theater! I hope the show goes off without a hitch :)
