I'm sensitive. I worry. I write in journals as though I'd lose myself if I didn't. I like nature and pretty things. I'm a self-proclaimed minimalist. I like traveling but mostly dream about it and feel frustrated.
One summer there was a girl at a retreat I went to for a development organization, and at the end of the weekend we were invited to share our thoughts. People did and I can't really remember much of what they said. Then this girl started speaking about her frustration at the inequality and unfairness in the world, and by the end she and was crying through her words. Someone started quietly snapping their fingers and we all joined in. It was amazing, and I want that sort of connection to happen more.
